Amada Stela of Amenhotep II
Amenhotep II commemorates a Syrian campaign in which he personally executes seven captured princes, then hangs six bodies from the walls of Thebes and sends the seventh to Napata, using mutilated corpses as long-distance political signage to two frontiers at once.
