Tudhaliya IV fixes his cousin Kurunta's borders and privileges as king of Tarhuntassa on a solid bronze tablet rather than clay, the only such instrument ever recovered from Hittite Anatolia, guaranteeing a settlement meant to outlast the usual archive of perishable records.
