Gilgamesh and the Bull of Heaven
In this fragmentary Sumerian poem, Inanna's request for a monstrous bull to punish Gilgamesh foreshadows the Bull of Heaven episode later folded directly into the Akkadian epic, where the bull's rampage and death costs Enkidu his life.
